Sept/Oct |
TBA | Weavers Guild of Buffalo MEMBERS EXHIBIT |
||
The guild will once again be staging our member ’s exhibition. It will be held in September/October 2010 at Amherst Museum. If you are new to the guild, this is open to all members in good standing (dues are paid) and is a wonderful opportunity to display your creative efforts in weaving, spinning, felting, hand dyeing and knitting (if using handspun yarn). This is a great time for our newest fiber artists to show, as there is always an award for a novice artist. In the upcoming months, we will be looking for individuals to assist with the exhibit. I’m sure there will be a job suited to your interests. We will also need your input as we select themes/show title and a juror. The show does not require a juror for entry, just for awards. Now it’s time to get busy, get creative and craft your masterpiece for the upcoming event. Please stay tuned for more details in the newsletter and at guild meetings. If you have any ideas or would like additional information, please contact me at peghouse@roadrunner.com. Or 716-648-2987. |
